readingPosition

The current reading position, or null if this ReaderView is not rendering any publication content. Use addOnReadingPositionChangedListener to detect when this value changes.

The Reading Position normally is the start of the Reading Area, so it follows the content while the user scrolls in a scrolling renderer, and it moves with every page turn in a paginated renderer. It differs from the start of the Reading Area in these cases.

• Directly after a goTo, the Reading Position is the navigation target.

• While a SyncMediaPlayer is attached with managed ReaderView synchronization enabled, the player drives the Reading Position. Scrolling or paging no longer moves it, unless it moves the old Reading Position out of the visible range.

• In a scrolling renderer, after a scrollBy that set ReaderViewScrollByOptions.setReadingPositionToReadingAreaStart to false, if the old Reading Position is still visible.
